Hi all, really enjoying the Firefox Focus app! While surfing news sites, all but one open a pop up request to support them by disabling the pop up blocker and all but one offer the Continue Without Disabling option. Not NJ.com. They totally block Firefox Focus from continuing and they don’t offer and option to click Continue Without Disabling. Doesn’t seem right does it? Thank you Firefox, really enjoying my internet with you :)

Been using Thunderbird for Android for many months for the email accounts I have with my ISP [optonline.net]. Several days ago sending of emails began failing. Error messages appearing in my Android Notifications say, "Failed to send some messages" "Sender refused". This is happening on all 4 of the devices my wife and I use. 2 phones and 2 tablets. Optimum is blaming Thunderbird. Thunderbird is still working fine on my Windows computer. It seems that all info regarding turning on Troubleshoot mode is referring to the Windows version as I can't find the "Help" menu item in the Android version anywhere. I have reconfigured the accounts in Thunderbird multiple times. The setup of SMTP always seems to end clean with a message of "Settings saved". It seems to me that Thunderbird is getting some error code from my ISPs mail server and I am hoping to have some more info to share with their tech support. The version if Thunderbird for Mobile we are on now is 9. I noticed that version 9 was just released on 5/5/2025. Not sure when exactly version 9 was pulled down to my devices. My phone is Android version 10. My tablet is Android version 14. Both are having the same exact issue. Is there a Troubleshoot Mode in the Android Thunderbird app? Is there a log file that could shed some light on the problem? Just tried the Beta version. Same problem. Also tried versions 8.2 and 8.0, Same problem. I still think that it's on Optonline.net but I'm going to need to do their job for them and find the reason it's stopped working. They are just going to blame Thunderbird. [and yeah, I tried K-9 as well]

I normally use Fedora but my Fedora machine died yesterday. For a time being I want to use Thunderbird on my Mac.

I have a backup of my thunderbird profile directory from Fedora 42. This corresponds to thunderbird-128.8.0. On the other hand, the current version on the mac is thunderbird-138.0.2.

1. Since the version number is higher on the mac I think I will be able to use the old 128.8.0 profile with the new mac version ?

2. If I do this, I will not be able to transfer my profile back to Fedora when I get it working again (because the version number there is lower) ?

3. Is there a way from me to install thunderbird-128.8.0 on the Mac so that I will be able to transfer my profile back to Fedora ?

Keep getting a message for only some of our email addresses when sending messages. Attached is a screenshot of the message. I have checked the smtp settings and they each have their own outgoing settings and they are linked to the correct user name but some work and some do not. We also are getting an error that requests us to login to yahoo. The yahoo mail popup window opens, we enter the user name and it pops up the Turbify business email popup window (because it is a business email). We again enter the user name and password for the email and it opens an error message blocking the turbify site sayin it is suspicious. We have deleted the email account and then added it back, but it does not solve the problem.

When I receive an e-mail that has a JPEG attachment (Windows 10 Professional 64-bit), Thunderbird opens the JPEG image with Microsoft Photo Viewer. When the image opens, I cannot rotate the image. If I save the image and then open that saved image via the same Microsoft application, the rotate icon in the upper left is operative. Is this due to the permissions in the image being opened by Thunderbird from alt/local/temp? Thanks.

Sometimes I'll get an email that will not open to read. And it is at random doing this.

What I see is this. In Outlook it is shown but will not open. While I get the same email in "gmail", it will open. If I open it in gmail and go back to outlook, it is now open. If I open another email in outlook and then go back to the one that does not open. It will not open again.

Does not make sense, does anyone have a "fix" for this problem? Thanks ahead for any suggestions or solutions.

I'm signed into Firefox on both my iPhone and my PC desktop, and I can see that both devices are listed under my account. I want to send all of my tabs from my iPhone to my desktop at once. When I sync, nothing happens. I can't find a way to send the tabs other than one at a time. This was straightforward and easy when I had Firefox for Android, but I have yet to find a way to do it with iOS.

Shortly after my Win10 x64 ver 22H2 update on tuesday 5/13, my Tbird fails to save any sent message with an attachment to the local sent folder. It is sent correctly and saved with attachment in the IMAP server's sent folder. The same message sent with no attachment will correctly be saved to the local sent folder as it should. In both cases the message "saving to sent folder" is displayed. The TB version was just updated to 128.10.2esr (64-bit) and issue continued as before. PC restarts make no difference. SFC system scan finds no issues. Had no issues with this PC & TB over last 5 years until now. Issue is annoying, since I frequently use the local sent folder to forward messages to additional recepients.

Hi I have been used to Thunderbird responding to my beginning to type recipient names with a list of matches. Suddenly it has stopped doing so. I have checked that all my addresses are still present in the Address Book (relief!), but I note that the Contacts sidebar is completely empty (even the Address Book options are missing). I can't find a setting to correct this, and would be very grateful to know how to revert to the previous good performance. Thanks

I've been using FF nightly on Android for a long time now, I've set the address bar to the bottom. a couple months back I got an update that added navigation buttons and a new tab button right below the address bar. this was the best update I've received, so convenient and allowed me to stop using the menu altogether. everything was just one tap away.

attaching a screenshot I found on Google for demonstration of that layout.

recently, I guess there was another update and the change had been reverted. it's a huge downgrade for my user experience to be honest. now the address bar went back to being one small strip, that squeezes everything tightly and forces me to interact with the menu again when I want to go back or open a new tab...
