When you open firefox private mode, it says leave no trace. Assuring users that whatever happens in their private session, stays in that session, but this is a blatant lie and firefox knows this. Go to any site that has cookies, or user login, or something similar. login into the site. Than simply remove firefox from ram. Now open firefox again, go to private mode, and go to that site. Most of the time, it still remembers the user. This issue has been present for far too long, not addressed, still pushed to the users that it is safe to use. Instead of warning the users, it is promoting them to use it by saying leaves no trace in this new update. This is unacceptable.

I have a Scotiabank account. Its login name is my CC or rather debit card number. I got a new card with a new number. FF will not let me change the old one to the new one. So I went through Safari and entered the new one by hand, which allowed me to do my online banking a day or two ago.

I want to use FF and to change the number, because FF is my default browser and I like it.

Thank you in advance....I am typing in tears...I am an elderly lady and I have used thunderbird (and contributed) for years! I just bought a new computer desktop. I was able to get my thunderbird account to my new computer but I had folders such as RECEIPTS; KEEP; IMPORTANT; DR. ROGERS; etc.

I have years worth of emails and things in these folders under 2 of my email addresses! I don't have them anywhere else and I am forever having to "prove" that I paid this or took care of that. Why didn't they come over? How can I get them to come over? I really need these folders' contents!

Please talk to me like I am 3 - you won't hurt my feelings!!! I have cognitive issues and have problems trying to remember and comprehend which is why I had all these folders to begin with. I have no children willing to make a trip to help me.

I feel absolutely SICK to think I have lost all these important papers.

is anyone else having issues with this POS browser shutting down unexpectedly FREQUENTLY for NO reason. I thought the first dozen or so times it was updates, but only once or twice there was mention of new feature. I am SO over it and think Chrome with it's risks IS the smarter move

Even though my settings in Firefox are set to restore open tabs when restarting, and Firefox is my default browser, I was unable to restore my open tabs when my Firefox browser just closed on me. I went up to the menu > History > Recently closed tabs > Reopen all tabs and nothing happened. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks for your help!

Dramatic change in version 11.0: It's hard to distinguish read vs unread using system theme with android 15 dark mode. It's almost as difficult to distinguish selected vs not selected. This was fine until the last update.

I came from kiwi browser & they had a customized button beside the bottom address bar that can be use as shortcuts.

One of the shortcuts that cna be mapped is extensions. Can Firefox add something like that? That would make ur browser much better? Could be enabled disabled so it's by choice

Hi, I want to make a simple extension for Firefox that auto toggles vertical tab based on the aspect ratio of the Firefox window. I found `sidebar.verticalTabs` in about:config that toggles vertical tabs, but a simple googling tells me that it is not possible for web extension to modify about:config values. Is there any other API that toggle vertical tabs? Thanks!

While using Facebook, I changed some Meta setting to block ads, then unblocked it. After this, Firefox does not show any Facebook info. Switching to Edge, everything shows as normal. Can't see any setting on the Firefox settings page that controls this.

I just updated to version 140.0 and now my subfolders are out of order. Is there a fix for this, short of fixing it manually? I miss how they were automatically alphabetized. That went away when manual reordering was implemented. I can't grab a bunch at the same time and move them, since the order is so messed up.
