Recently, whenever I open Thunderbird, a sign in pop up screen appears. When I enter to proceed, the next page comes up with error 400 bad request? If I ignore this and close the boxes, I can use Tbird without any issues, but, it is a nuisance dealing with this error message every time I use Tbird. How do I resolve this?

I would like to follow up on a query I posted earlier this year at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1565806

Briefly, I want to move some more prior years' archived folders and messages to TBird's Local Folders. My effort to simply drag and drop the archive to the new location ran into trouble because (as I understand) the archive flag was not turned off in the move, leading to anomalous results. Is there a standard approved way to move archived messages to local folders, or should I just drag and drop and de-flag again?

From my earlier query: > Installing the folder flags add-on showed me (as you said) that 2024 was flagged as an archive. I turned the flag off, restarted TBird and 2024 now comes after 2023 as it should. I expect I created the problem somehow when I moved the 2024 folder from the server to Local Folders; what is the proper way to do that?

Hi... I have switched from Google to Thunderbird and am using my old Gmail address: viewegm11@gmail.com on Thunderbird with not problem. Before moving over, I imported all of the email files over to Thunderbird...(old emails and the like).

Now Gmail has sent me a notice saying that I have no more space on the Google server and that I soon won't be able to send or receive emails via Google. Does this apply to Google only or to Thunderbird, as well?

In sum: I no longer log into Gmail or Chrome at all... I am using Thunderbird ONLY to Send and Receive emails at: viewegm11@gmail.com [on Thunderbird].

So the Question arises: Does the warning from Google that tells me That I won't be able to use Gmail anymore apply to my use of the viewegm11@gmail.com address over here on Thunderbird? Or am I safe in choosing to continue using my original Gmail address on Thunderbird...in spite of the warning from Google.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you very much! Martin Vieweg viewegm11@gmail.com

There's a particular couple of links in Gmail, from a specific email, which sends links I need to go to, and they will not open, yet gives an error message. This has been happening for years. The sender sends these links to all members, and I'm the only one who cannot open them. 2 decades ago I was able to open them.

I have used FF on my laptop for many years and AVG AntiTrack on it for 1-1/2 yr without issue. However, today I got a message that appears to be from AVG (but also includes the FF logo) that their AntiTrack is disabled and I need to add it to FireFox, with a "Resolve" button and NO way to close the message. How do I know if it is true or an attempt to hack me? Have there been any other reports of this happening to others? TIA, KBoDolphin

Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks.
