Hi, folgendes Problem: plötzlich hatte ich keinen Zugang mehr zu TB, hab alles mögliche versucht, nix ging. Hab dann Update versucht, nix, dann neue Version runtergeladen, Meldung: A newer version of TB may have made changes to your profile.... etc. wie krieg ich das wieder hin ????

I am using AdGuard Windows App but the app does not work well with Firefox. There are long page loading delays on many sites (TLS handshakes, etc.) while I do not have this issue with other browsers. I have installed the AdGuard certificate, have disabled DOH in Firefox, but still the problem. The only solution is to turn off HTTPS filtering in the AdGuard Windows app which then defeats many of the protections normally afforded by the AdGuard Windows app. I understand that there is a long history of Firefox not playing well with AdGuard Windows app so I am hoping/wondering if there is some solution on the horizon?

anyone know how to recover my email contacts in latest version ot TB, theyve dissapeared since using spam aniallater , with is now uninstalled.

i have the same email acct on my other pc , could i recover everything from therte as its intact thanks

also my TB spam filters have now dissapeared [but still seem to be working] but filtering the wrong things. thanks if anyone can help

iOS 18.5 -> Firefox app Firefox 141.2 (59350) -> Menu (3 horizontal dots bottom near right) -> Bookmarks (top left) -> Add (top right) -> where does this added bookmarks go to? I cannot find it? I suspect Bookmarks are not being added from the phone. I sync between desktop and phone, currently having to add bookmarks via the desktop.

I have recently installed Thunderbird on a Rasperry-By - additional to several Windows PCs

I'm using the same Mail-Adresses via Thunderbird - and on my MobilePhone - on serveral devices.

This all works fine...

But Thunerbird on the Pi has created two "SENT" Folders - one is named "Sent Items" - the other just "sent".

Now - only the one folder named "Sent items" connects with the IMAP - the one named "Sent" only remains local - Mails sent from the PI DO NOT show up in the "Sent" folders on the other devices - all mails sent from other devices show up in the Folder "Sent Items". But the Mails sent from the Pi actually reach recipients an receive answers.

The Location for the folders is listed under properties as:

imap://[username]@imaps.[provider]/Sent (on the PI) - folder "Sent" imap://[username]@imaps.[provider]/Sent%20Items (on the PI) - folder "Sent Items" and imap://[username]@imaps.[provider]/Sent Items (under Windows)

To solve the Problem, I tried to EDIT the line Location under proparties, but this can't be edited (doesn't allow entries - or delete with cursor - nor pastes from Copy / Paste.)

So how can I synchronize the SENT folder(s) from the Pi with the Server...?

Have a problem getting page data? Had a campus directory page that before allowed wget2 to download pages fine for over 10 years. Now that modified pages, and get nothing? Can open the new page https://employeessb-prod.ec.guamcc.edu/EmployeeSelfService/ssb/campusDirectory#/lastName But trying to manually save page results in a 1.3M file, while using print to PDF gives a 50K file? Seems it is some kind of dynamic page, so the Save as gives a ton of garbage Java code, versus saving the final web page. Printing to PDF seems to take the final form and print the correct information.

Currently takes a 2 1/2 minutes to go to the first page, Ctrl-P, and print to PDF File. Then have to use Next option to go to pages 2-6, and manual print each one, changing the save file name each time. Makes like 6 50K files. Use pdftotext to change to text, and then combine into one file to extract data.

What took 6 seconds with wget2 to download, now takes 2 1/2 minutes??

I have just bought a new computer running the latest version of Win 11pro and the latest version of Firefox is installed. When I click on a mailto link it will not open, I have looked on the internet and as usual the instructions to do this and the you will see this, bear no resemblance to the reality of what I see on the screen and statements such as alter this but it does not say how. This is extremely annoying to this 80 year old non computer literate person especially when the mailto link works on my old computer running Win7 pro with the same email and internet programs installed. I have Edge, Opera and Firefox as internet browsers and use Thunderbird as my email program. Can anybody explain ALL the steps to be taken in plain English to cure this problem please?

I have add several accounts hotmail.com in Thunderbird with out a problem but, I can't add hotmail.gr account.

I am using tab groups and suddenly they all disappeared. There is no hint or trace of this function, not even in the tab pulldown menue. I checked the internet, I restartet Firefox several times, I restarted my notebook (Windows 11), I checked about:config (tab groups are enabled). I even reinstalled firefox - it seems like tab groups never have existed. What might have happend - and how could I get that feature back?

I'm using Win 11 and ver 140.3.1esr (64 bit)

Thunderbird works perfectly except for just one thing. Every time I write any email it freezes after about 2 minutes. If it's a short email, it gets sent. If it's longer, before I can get to the end, the program freezes, and I have to use Task Manager to stop it. No problem receiving and reading emails. This started about a month ago.

I use Bitdefender, but it still happens with that off. Windows is up to date. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks.

i use Mozilla at work, in logistics.

When booking shippments we use "nShift". Booking is repetitive, so the autofill function (in swedish its autofyll) is pretty useful, and we have used it extensively...now for some reason it has just disappeared and we cant get back.

See uppploaded imgage, tried to follow the instructions,..... also in my edition there is no subheading caled "Formulär & autofyll", it just says "Autofyll".

So the question is, what to do to get the autofill back.

I can not access my bookmarks links, the bookmarks are there, but the links to the internet is dead. I still have access to my home page, though the bookmarks links are dead. How can I fix this? Thank you for you help in this matter. Gary

Hi I was using TB 142 without problems. When upgrading to 143 ou 144.B4 I have problems sending mails to all users after some times. Usually the first mails are sent immediatly but after around 10 mails, I have very slow response (varies from 5 sec to more than 1 minute and sometimes timeout). Usually quitting TB solves the problem but this is very annoying. I went back to 140LTS and sems to have no longer this problem. This was tested on many diffrent networks. I am running under Fedora release 42

I have a rather odd question. I have a website with a background video that autoplays made with Squarespace. The video plays fine in every browser, except maybe 10-20% of the time will only pull up the spinning white wheel with black background but just in Firefox. I have been through all troubleshooting, DRM settings reset, Cache cleared, hardware acceleration turned off, browser up to date - but none of it gives me a permanent solution. The video itself is up to correct spec in Squarespace, does anyone know what I'm missing? Thank you in advance.

When browsing, I sometimes (more often than not) get a Secure Connection Failed message. The Try Again tab clears the problem sometimes (not that often). This problem has just started happening in the last week, during which I have not made changes to any settings in Firefox. This problem does not exist using other search engines for the same site that I am trying to access, and I note that I also get this same failure when trying to access some Firefox webpages. Is there a fix to this other than contacting the web site owner, which I doubt is the cause of the problem, or for ease and simplicity should I just change to another search engine that does not have the problem?
