What is the "~Mirage Plugin"?

Hi All I've noticed for some time now an extension that's been in my list of extensions. It's not that I appear to have any problem, it's just that I don't seem to be able to find a clear answer as to what it is, or does, or if I need it. The version number of the ~Mirage Plugin is 6.1.58.0. The only information Firefox gives about it is "for Visual Mirage Projects". And the only reference I can find to that information via BING & Google is something about Photoshop & being able to print files without having Photoshop open. Now, I do have an older version of Photoshop on my PC that I use from time to time to do a bit of photo editing, but the number of times I've printed more than a "quick and dirty" image from Photoshop I can count on one hand, and I certainly don't have the need for being able to click on a Photoshop document & just press "print" from Windows Explorer (which is what the article I read suggested might be the primary purpose of the Firefox extension). Is anyone able to shed any light on this? I don't like having extensions in Firefox needlessly. Thanks.
