tv.apple locks up and cannot play.

A quick fix may be to clear the TV App Cache & Authorized States. Corrupted local database files inside the Mac's native media app can trigger unpredictable video lockups a few minutes into playback.
Steps: - Launch the Apple TV app on your Mac. - From the top menu bar, click Account > Authorizations > Deauthorize This Computer. - Log completely out of your Apple Account inside the app. - Completely quit the TV app, hold down the Shift key, and reopen the app (this clears the last saved application state). - Go back to Account, log back in, and select Authorize This Computer.
