I have Firefox and uBlock Origin installed on my system which I rely on. I can't stand instrusive ads in X and YouTube. It worked fined then a few months ago, my system would lag out and become unresponsive. This was an occasional occurrence, after investigating I found Firefox would consume all my RAM and leave it in an unresponsive state. If I was able to get enough response I could kil Firefox and get control of my system back. Now anytime I open Firefox and go to X or YouTube it lags out everytime. I switched over to Edge and loaded uBlock Origin and it works fine. I hate Edge and use to using Firefox. I don't know what changed in Firefox or uBlock Origin but it is useless now. I can't find any bug reference CoPilot told me Firefox and uBlock are consuming all the ram and gave me a bunch of setting to change which had no effect. I don't know what else to do but continue to use Edge.
