Firefox covers the hidden taskbar on windows desktop

Hello

I've a Dell optiplex desktop with win 10/11. Every time firefox opens it covers the hidden task bar...I have to tap the windows key to be able to access it.

Have looked around at several threads and no solution...any ideas?
