Need for Option for adding search engine below for search in address bar
With a catastrophe with my System I almost reinstall all Software including Firefox than I found the address bar changed a lot in the latest version.
For the old version when I type words, press the down key to switch your engine below, but the new version they disappear! Even for alt+↑ or alt + ↓ are disabled now, may it be too radical?
I really like the engines below in the old version, thus, a option for let the engines shows below may pretty helpful

Search Box: Alt + Up/Down shortcut doesn't work https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/address-bar-updates-now-live-in-firefox-nightly/m-p/95194/highlight/true#M37154
Of course, it's not the answer expected, nevertheless.
You can try this option, the Search bar to your toolbar. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-search-bar-firefox-toolbar
You can test, browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/address-bar-updates-now-live-in-firefox-nightly/m-p/97642/highlight/true#M38055
Without going through all that, in V140 selection of search engines shows at bottom of choice list (new to me)?
