Unable to open Firefox.

After updating my Apple operating system to Soia equoia 15.3.2 Firefox will not open in any other accounts other than the administrators. A prompt appears stating Firefox is trying to install a new helper tool. When myself as administrator logs in to install it, it will not do anything and the application does not open. Firefox does work fine when I have my administrator account logged into. Firefox has never had a problem on this computer until the update to 15.3.2 occurred.
