Nord VPN not recognizing that Firefox is on version 130. It keeps thinking that I am on version 128. I have Nord techs telling me what to do with their app but nothing I have done, even a complete new install of Nord, is fix ing the problem. They have suggested I get in touch with Firefox so here I am. OS Win10 home. It is also happening on my lap top with Win 11

Please send a reply to [edited from public] I tried to tick the box to get an email but it is not or appears to not be working.

Hi Brian, your screenshot refers to Mozilla Thunderbird, which is a stand-alone email program, separate from Firefox. Do you recall installing Thunderbird?

Your screenshot mentions Thunderbird 128.1.0 and not Firefox 130.0 though. There has been the Thunderbird 128.1.1 and 128.2.0 Releases since as you can see at https://www.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/releases/

Thunderbird 128.2.0esr has security fixes that the older 128.1.0esr does not have https://www.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/128.2.0esr/releasenotes/

As for Firefox the 130.0 is the current Release as you can see at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ so NordVPN should not be making any mention of Firefox 130.0 at present until there is an update with security fixes whether it be 130.0.1 or 131.0.

Any vulnerabilities NordVPN is aware is what is mentioned at https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/
