Saved bookmarks on Android are gone after updating the app and synchronizing

Hello, I recently updated my Firefox App on my Android phone and synchronized it with my mozilla account. But now I cant find my bookmarks I saved in my App browser. It says the folder is empty and I can only see those bookmarks I saved on my Windows PC . Where have my App bokmarks gone or how can I find them again? There were quite a few of them and important ones too. Thank you for any help.
