accessing Firefox on a new phone
I recently bought a new phone. I have a total of three. The first two are semi-retired. They have aging operating systems and are no longer updatable. But I use them as wireless extension devices. About two hours ago, I installed and attempted to access Firefox search engine. I didn't remember the password. So I created a new one. That was successful. But then I had to enter a verification code. I did so and now there is a significant delay. This is in my new phone. Operating on Android 13. I'm accessing Firefox on one of my retired phones which are linked via WiFi to my new phone.
So, WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?????
I have a total of three devices, all with Firefox. Only one device has a sim card that is registered and subscribed.

Hi
I am not sure what the problem is - what happened when you entered the verification code?
All that happens is a little circle turns around in the dialog box and in a red box above, it says working. I uploaded a screen save of it but it apparently didn't get posted
Been going on since yesterday. Mozilla works on my previous two phones. But it won't verify on my newest phone. I am posting this through the WIFI FEATURE OF MY NEW PHONE.
Please can you try this again, checking spam and junk mail folders of the email address connected to your Firefox account for a verification email.
I don't have a problem receiving the verification code. I copy and paste it into the requested area. It accepts it just fine. But it just sits there and says it's working. Why don't we cut this security crap out?????? They have my email. I get the number. I post the number. ITS ME!
If you go to https://accounts.firefox.com and sign into your account, do you see your new device listed under Connected Services?
