crashing on iOS after logging into sync

firefox for ios worked fine until yesterday. yesterday i tried to open firefox and it would close instantly. so fast i can barely see the "well this is embarrassing.." dialog appear.

so i uninstalled it. reinstalled it. works fine. i can open/close/browse/search etc. then i decide to re-setup firefox sync on it. as soon as i do that and close firefox i can no longer open it again. another cycle of uninstall/reinstall and i can use the app until i decide to setup sync again.

prior to yesterday i had sync on and it worked fine. no issues and i've been using sync for at least the past 2 years on this device.

let me know if there is any other information i can provide. thanks for your help.
