Router / OpenVPN configurations available? What are the benefits over Mullvad VPN?

I realize Mozilla VPN is an application and I'm glad to see it applies to the entire device; however, I'm curious if subscription to Mozilla VPN supplies VPN configuration files / information. There are a couple cases in which this would be useful:

  • Using a third-party VPN application such as Tunnelblick or Viscosity
  • Configuring a router to route all traffic through the VPN

Features

  • Mozilla VPN is $5/mo: includes, to my understanding, Windows, Linux, Mac clients, as well as Android and iOS applications.
  • Mullvad VPN is €6/mo (~$6 USD): also offers Windows, Linux, and Mac desktop clients, Android and iOS apps
   * OpenVPN & Wireguard configuration files are available for use with third-party clients and routers

tl;dr: my question is this: why is Mozilla VPN a better option than Mullvad VPN?

Also, is there a full list of servers, encryption methods, VPN technologies for each, or SOCKS proxy features for Mozilla VPN? I do not see this anywhere in the Mozilla VPN documentation.

Without the option to "Try Mozilla VPN" myself without payment, please help me understand the benefits of Mozilla VPN over Mullvad or other options. Is there any way to trial Mozilla VPN?
