The latest update of Android Firefox is absolutely becoming an annoying issue. Not being able to set my view back to the old style theme is absolutely ridiculous. I don't like the new Firefox, everything about it is garbage, I hate to say that. I've used Mozilla apps since the organization existed and made apps. This is going back ten years ago. I haven't once disliked this web browser. Sorry to say but this update to the android is not enjoyed, I'm sure many feel the same way. New Android Firefox update, needs a function to restore old, but better functionality, with the previous look/theme. The options that were there for personal use are now removed and has less functionality. The options given now; are absolutely unnecessary and doesn't at all help anyone get the old look back. But only encourages you to stick with the simple new look that is absolutely backwards from the previous versions of Firefox. Having no favorite star on the top bar of the browser is a joke. Having everything you need in a tiny menu now, is very annoying. Especially how Firefox will now open tab after tab, and not close them either. Every single page I visit sits in the background of the app until I manually close them. There is no options to change that function to automatically remove tabs when exiting. As I said, all the options I used to to use, are now gone and I now am disliking Firefox for the fist time in my life. my whole point of this post is to show Mozilla team my concern for the latest Android Firefox update, how they need to allow us users to change options we in the past version had. Also allow us to change the look/theme back to the old style and forget this new look. I'm not ready to be limited on my web browser, I need my functionality back and so does many others who care, as I do. Please do consider my question and thoughts, hopefully this matter can be resolved.

I searched for my question previous to my post, couldn't find anything. I decided to make this post. Didn't realize this was just community, and not Mozilla support. I've never had to make any posts. Things have been very smooth for me until this new update. So thank you for the information. I did however found the (what's new) button in the menu, roughly ten minutes ago. Upon reading the information in that link, I now feel like my thoughts were already answered in the information Mozilla has given, for this new release. Everything I brought up in my post here, are things they are slowly implementing back into the new Android Firefox release. In the the next three weeks, they will be adding back the features the previous version had before. everything I said is not even valid anymore, because already it was answered.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

It is amazing how hard it is to start a new thread as I am constantly redirected to search the database.

Since this is an issue I am having since the latest update I will post here.

-I agree with the OP that an option of classic view should be available, not a hard programming task regardless of the major change in code.

-Major update killed all of my add-ons. At least if you are going to kill traditional add on support give your users a heads up. Some of us rely on add-ons for business. Others just deserve that respect for "hanging in there" and trying to support Firefox while it continually lacks the stability of other browsers.

-You killed my custom home page add-on. Why can we never just have an organic way to set a custom home page? You are the only browser that does this. Is this a crued marketing attempt to push "Get Pocket" on your users??

-What I initially wanted to create a thread about: Bookmarks has a MAJOR issue. Bookmarks, when opened, open the entire bookmark tree. Imagine it that happened with every folder and sub folder ect. in Windows File Manager. Not only does Bookmarks need to default to only expanding parent folders, but the ability to expand and collapse all sub folder and sub folders of sub folders ect NEEDS to be implementated. If this does not happen, Mozilla may loose be after over 25 years...

Sorry for the lack of proof reading, typing on mobile.

this latest update has CAUSED a frustrating phenomenon on one particular website I frequent.

its a forum. this forum has a taskbar at the bottom. A FIXED TASKBAR. Until this "upgrade" that is its now a floating Taskbar that will be invisible but present behind a comment box.

have no issues elsewhere, just on this one forum that uses vanilla forum hosting and templates.

scroll down it disappears all together or moves down.

please help. I love firefox. but this may be enough to get me to move on tobthose bastards google
