I downloaded Firefox twice by mistake and don't want to install second download. What do I do?

I thought the initial download was not working. I had tried twice before and it never appeared in downloads. This time it did, but I had already tried again. My laptop is fast at some things, slow at others.

Did you only download and saved the Firefox installer on your computer the second time or did you already started the second installation?

If you only downloaded then you can simply delete this downloaded file (e.g drag to the Recycle bin). If you started the installation then probably nothing is wrong and you can finish or abort the installation when possible. If you end up with two desktop shortcuts then simply remove one.

Thank you for taking time to answer my question. Firefox wanted me to sync with my iphone (not possible as it turns out - one's a 9, the other a 10) - and I ended up with three versions. I deleted two and now I have only one. One of those I deleted had been saved. Don't know what happened but I only have one now. It seems to be functional.

Sometimes it's better not to look too closely at these things.
