I have as a main account a blueyonder.co.uk account (a POP type as far as I know). I have been finding that some replies to sent mail have been coming in to another of my accounts (gmail). (I used to use Windows Live Mail before Microsoft junked it after Windows10 update. It was so simple. Thunderbird I generally find is not simple. I am thinking of ditching Thunderbird for this reason, but there doesn’t to be anything that offers the simplicity as WLM.) Any helpful relies welcome, but keep it jargon free please.

Chosen solution

Thunderbird is perhaps more flexible than some other mail clients. That means more choices. And so more opportunities for mistakes.

Check which smtp server the blueyonder account is using. The symptoms suggest that it might be using the gmail account's smtp server.

Thanks Zenos You were right . My blueyonderco.uk account had set automatically to the gmail stmp server. I hope this will now work properly. Is it just me, or is Thunderbird quite complicated compared to WLM and the iOS mail for iPad apps.? I will persevere, especially now I have found this Forum. Probably more questions will arise! Thanks again.
