Since recent F'Fox upgrade items that used to open on a new tab, dowload to desktop. Am on Mac 10.11.4

In using Constant Contact, pdf document links used to open in a tab. Now they download to the desktop. ONLY in Firefox. I don't have this problem in Safari or Chrome. But I prefer working in Constant Contact using FIREFOX. On a Mac with OS 10.11.4
