The Firefox Marketplace is the best place where you can connect to the web to find, try and download apps and content that matters to you. It allows you to use apps that connects you with your friends and family, stay entertained, keep on top and ahead of trends, save money, solve problems, etc.
The Firefox Marketplace can be accessed via Firefox for Android and the Firefox OS which will be released in early 2013. The Marketplace consists of exciting, useful and high-quality apps created in HTML5. These apps can be used across multiple platforms and devices.
The Marketplace design promotes app discoverability and visibility. This helps you find the apps you are looking for quickly and easily.
What is an app?
Apps are pieces of software that you can download to your phone and run locally. The apps downloaded from the Firefox Marketplace will work in your phone the same way any other app on your phone works such as the calendar or browser. These apps from the marketplace, however, may be installed and uninstalled.
Can I use an application on any device? Or on multiple devices?
You can download the Firefox Apps to any of your Firefox OS or Android phone. Simply, go to the Marketplace app and start downloading your favorite apps. If you don’t yet have the Firefox Marketplace app in your Android device you can learn how to do it by visiting the following article: How to install the Firefox Marketplace in my Android phone?
