What are email trackers and how can I block them with Firefox Relay?

An email tracker is a file that marketers or third parties use to gather information about your online activities. Files like these are embedded in marketing emails and usually hidden in images, links or attachments. Tracking pixels are some of the most common types of trackers hidden in emails. They tell the sender when or if an email was opened as well as the user's email client and IP address. Set Firefox Relay to block known trackers contained in forwarded emails and keep your activity private.
