By default, Hotmail and Outlook accounts are set to only sync emails from a certain period of time. In order to see all of your email, you'll need to change the account setting to sync all messages:
- In the Email app, tap the menu button
in the top left corner.
- Tap the account settings gear in the bottom left.
- Then select the Hotmail or the Outlook account you want to change.
- Tap the menu under the Synchronize section and select All messages.
- Then hit .
Note: If you have a lot of email, it may take a few minutes to synchronize it all.
