The implementation for email uses activesync protocol to talk to the Hotmail or the Outlook servers. In this implementation, the Hotmail or Outlook account is set to only sync emails from a specific time period. In order to see all your emails, you will want to:

  1. Open the accounts side bar by tapping menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. Tap on the the accounts settings icon setting.
  3. Select the Hotmail or the Outlook account you with to configure.
  4. Select "Automatic" under Synchronize and change it to "All messages".
Note: It may take a few minutes to synchronize all your emails. If you are only interested in your most recent messages, it may be quicker to synchronize a shorter time frame, such as 2 weeks.
