The implementation for email uses activesync protocol to talk to the Hotmail servers. In this implementation, the Hotmail account is set to only sync a certain time period of emails. In order to see all your emails, you will want to:
- Open the accounts side bar by tapping
on the top left corner.
- Tap on the the accounts settings icon .
- Select the Hotmail account.
- Select "Automatic" under Synchronize and change it to "All messages".
Note: It may take a few minutes to synchronize all your emails. If you are only interested in your most recent messages, it may be quicker to synchronize a shorter time frame, such as 2 weeks.
