The Awesome Screen gets you where you want to go quickly by giving you a list of your most often visited sites along with the ability to browse through your bookmarks, history, and desktop Firefox tabs. Just tap on the site you want to visit. No typing involved!

This article talks about accessing bookmarks, history and tabs from your desktop computer. In order to do that you need to set up Firefox Sync. Use Sync to share your Firefox bookmarks, passwords and more with Firefox for mobile will show you how.

How do I quickly find the site I want?

First, open the Awesome Screen by tapping in the location bar at the top of any page or by creating a new tab. Then follow the instructions in the sections below.

Using the All Pages tab

When you first open the Awesome Screen you'll see a list of your most visited sites. Simply tap on the one you want to go to that site. If you don't see what you want right away, use the keyboard to type the name or address of the site you want. The Awesome Screen will instantly search through your bookmarks, history, and desktop tabs to find a match. Just tap on one of the results to go to that page.

You can also browse though your bookmarks, history and desktop tabs by selecting their tabs in the Awesome Screen.

Searching the web

If you type something in the Awesome Screen and it doesn't find any results, just tap on the type of search you'd like to do and Firefox will take you directly to the results.
