If you have the blue ZTE Open phone and try to download updates for the Accuweather or Wikipedia apps, you may find that they never finish downloading.

Here's how you can get the updates to install:

  1. Try to download the updates for Accuweather or Wikipedia again. The update will not download but that's OK.
  2. Tap the download progress and then tap the Yes button that comes up to confirm that you want to stop the download.

  3. Now, restart your device by pressing and holding the power button and then selecting Restart.

The updates will be installed during the restart and the notification will be cleared.

Note: If you have the orange ZTE Open (sold on ZTE's Ebay store), the Wikipedia & Accuweather updates work, but the 13MB System Update will fail and will appear again after the reboot. This System Update notice is safe to ignore but can't be cleared. This is a known issue that is being worked on.
