Picture-in-picture view lets you watch videos in a floating window so you can continue watching even when you switch windows. Firefox gives you controls for turning picture-in-picture view on or off when you hover over a video. If you don’t want to see the controls while hovering, you can hide that option in Firefox. (Note: You can still control picture-in-picture view if you right-click on the video.)
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and select (select on older macOS versions).Click the menu button
and select .
- Scroll down to the Browsing section.
- Clear the check mark for “Enable picture-in-picture video controls”.
