How do I get help with a problem?

Please call your retailer for any questions about using your Firefox OS developer preview device to determine if a hardware problem could be the cause of the issue.

Refer to [geeksphone.com] for hardware specifications, warranties and contact information not included in the documentation you received with your phone.

Where should I direct billing inquiries?

Contact your carrier for all questions related to billing or data usage inquiries.

Where can I get help with ore report software issues & glitches?

If a problem persists, please go to Settings > Improve Firefox OS > Send Feedback to send Mozilla feedback about the problem.

Restart the device

Reboot or restart your Firefox OS device by pressing and holding the power button (located at the top of the device) and selecting Restart Phone from the menu. Most minor isues with the developer preview can be resolved by this method.

Close or Quit an App

Close apps using the app switcher in Firefox OS.

  1. To close an app, press and hold the home button The image "tbd" does not exist..
    The app switcher appears with a thumbnail of an open app and the name of the app.
  2. Swipe left to find the thumbnail image for the app you want to close.
  3. Swipe up to close the app.
    The thumbnail disappears and the app is closed.
Tip: To leave the app switcher, tap the home button.

Setup Call Forwarding

  1. To open the contacts app, tap contacts app.
  2. To import contacts, tap Import from SIM or Import Facebook Friends.
  3. Tap add icon to add a contact manually.
  4. Enter a name, number and image then tap Done.
    The contact list appears with the new contact name and image.
Tip: Select a contact's name, then tap phone or message to call or send that contact a message.

Enable Data Connection

Enalbe your data connection quickly by swiping down on the home screen to open the utility tray The image "TBD" does not exist., then tap the Data icon The image "data" does not exist..


Enable Wi-Fi

Enable Wifi quickly by swiping down to open the Utility tray and tapping the Wifi icon The image "wifi" does not exist..


Send Crash Reports

Open the Settings app, tap Improve Firefox OS and tap Always send a report.

How do I update my device?=

Open the Settings app, tap Device Information, and tap the Check now. A notification will appear if an update is available.
Updates will only download over Wifi to prevent data usage charges
.

How do I reset my device?

CAUTION: Resetting your phone will delete all data, installed apps, and unconfigure all default apps, requiring you to setup email, calendar, wifi, data, media and any other settings or customizations you had previously configured and any purched apps or downloaded data!

Open the Settings app, tap Device Information, and tap the More Information, then tap Reset phone and tap OK.
