Thunderbird Accessibility Features

There are many ways to make Thunderbird work with your accessibility needs.

Display Options

In Thunderbird, you have the option to change your display options.

  1. At the top of the Thunderbird window, click the Tools menu (Alt + T) and select Options…OptionsIn the menu bar, click the Thunderbird menu and select PreferencesAt the top of the Thunderbird window, click the Edit menu and select Preferences, or click the Application menu button New Fx Menu and choose Options…OptionsPreferences.

  2. Click Display. The following screen will display:

Screen Readers

The following Screen Readers have been tested to work with Thunderbird.

Font Size

Users have recommended the Theme Font & Size Changer add-on for changing the font size in Thunderbird. Click here to be redirected to install this add-on.
