Starting in Firefox version 89, a Text Encoding menu item is no longer available from the Firefox menu The image "Fx89MenuButton" does not exist. panel.
You can access from the Menu bar when the Menu bar is enabled, by clicking and then . You can press and release the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar.
Firefox 91 introduces a new Repair Text Encoding feature. There is no longer a sub-menu with a list of encoding choices. When the menu item is activated and you click on it, Firefox will automatically change the character encoding based on page content, when this is possible.
Tip: You can also customize your Firefox toolbar to add a button:
