Warning: If you change your password, your other devices will stop syncing and your previously synced computers and mobile devices have to be re-added to your Sync account.
  1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Settings (select Preferences on older macOS versions).Click the menu button Fx89menuButton and select Settings.
  2. Click on the Sync tab.
  3. Click the arrow next to Manage Account to reveal the Change Password menu.
  4. Click the Change Password menu and a new password sheet will slide downwindow will open.
  5. Enter your new password and then confirm it.
  6. Then click Change Password.
  7. Close the Settings page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
  1. Click the menu button Fx89menuButton to open the menu panel.
  2. Click on your email address near the bottom of the panel to bring up the Sync options tab.
  3. Click on the Manage link next to your account name.
  4. On the Manage account page, click on Change password.
  5. Enter your new password in the field and click the Change Password button.
