This is a new feature that is not yet available in released versions of Firefox. You can try it on Firefox Beta.

Windows XP users: This feature is not available on Windows XP.

Firefox Hello's screen sharing feature lets you share web pages, photos, and more during a call. If you've initiated a conversation (either by calling a contact or generating a new conversation link), the screen sharing feature will be available to you. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the webpage you want to share before joining another user on Firefox Hello.
  2. Click the screen share button screenshare button on your conversation window.

  3. Choose one of the following options:
    • Share my Tabs: let people see the web page you're on.
    • Share other Windows: let people see another application that you have open. If you choose this option, Firefox Hello will ask you to select the application you want to share.
    Tip: The screen share button will turn green end share hello when you're actively sharing.
  4. To end the screen sharing session, click the share button end share hello again.
