Before you write an email make sure you've set up your email. See Add email accounts.

To open the email app, tap .
Tap the add button () to compose a new message.
Enter recipients in the To and/or cc/bcc field. You can do this in different ways:
- Tap to access all of your contacts and select a contact to send the email to.
- Enter a full email address.
- Enter part of an email address or name and tap . Matching contacts will be offered and one can be selected.
Enter your email Subject and text in the fields below.
Tap the Send button to send your email.
