Restore the default Smart Bookmarks Folders

If you have deleted one or more of the default [[Smart Bookmarks Folders]], including: * Most Visited * Recently Bookmarked * Recent Tags you can restore them by doing the following: # [[T:aboutconfig]] # Search for the preference {pref browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion}. # Double-click on {pref browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion} and change the value to {pref 0} (zero). # [[T:closeFirefox]] The next time you start Firefox, the default Smart Bookmarks Folders will be re-created.

If you have deleted one or more of the default Smart Bookmarks Folders, including:

• Most Visited
• Recently Bookmarked
• Recent Tags

you can restore them by doing the following:

1. Type about:config in the address bar and press EnterReturn.
   A warning page may appear. Click Accept the Risk and Continue to go to the about:config page.
2. Search for the preference browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion.
3. Double-click on browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion and change the value to 0 (zero).
4. Click the Firefox menu and select Exit.Click the Firefox menu at the top of the screen and select Quit Firefox.Click the Firefox menu and select Quit.

The next time you start Firefox, the default Smart Bookmarks Folders will be re-created.
