Remove a synced device from your Mozilla account

Sync allows you to sync your bookmarks, logins and browsing information across different devices. When you're no longer using a device, you can remove it from your account and delete its associated browsing information if you choose.

  1. Open Firefox on the computer you want to disconnect.
  2. Click your Mozilla account email or display name (you might need to sign in first).

  3. Click Sync Settings.
  4. Click the Disconnect button. A prompt will ask you if you want to clear your sync'ed data from that device.
  5. Put a checkmark next to the information you want to remove, if any.

  6. Click the Just Disconnect button, or Disconnect & Delete if you will remove any data.
  1. Open Firefox on the computer you want to disconnect.
  2. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and then select Preferences or Settings, depending on your macOS version.Click the menu button Fx89menuButton and select Settings.
  3. Click SyncFirefox Account on the left panel.
  4. Click the Disconnect button. A prompt will ask you if you want to clear your sync'ed data from that device.
  5. Put a checkmark next to the information you want to remove, if any.
