This feature is not available on your device.
Private Browsing lets you visit web pages or perform searches without saving your information. This feature is especially useful if you have to share your device with other people.
Warning: Private Browsing doesn't make you anonymous on the Internet. Your Internet service provider, employer (if using your employer's WiFi, for example), or the sites themselves can still track what pages you visit.
Open a Private Window?
- Open the Firefox browser on your device.
- Tap the
- A Private Window will open. It will have a different appearance from regular browsing.

Open a link in a Private Window
- Do a long tap on the link that you want to open.
- Choose from the menu that appears.
Close your Private Windows
- Tap the menu button
at the top right corner of the browser.
- Tap to choose the tabs you want to close, or tap .
