Installing and Using another Language Dictionary

If you are sending messages in multiple languages, you can install additional language dictionaries. How to install a new language dictionary?

1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Settings (select Preferences on older macOS versions).Click the menu button and select Settings. .
2. Select the Composition panel and the Spelling tab.
   
3. Click on Download More Dictionaries.
4. In the opened tab, scroll through the alphabetic list of dictionaries to find the one you want.
5. Click on Download Dictionary next to the language of your choice.
6. In the opened page of the selected dictionary, click on Add to Thunderbird.
7. Restart Thunderbird.

You can also install a new dictionary directly in the composition windows:

1. In the Composition window, right click on a word.
2. From the context menu, select Languages, then Add Dictionaries… and follow the steps described in the above section.

How to set the dictionary?
