Firefox Relay is a service that allows users to create email masks to hide their true email address. These email masks can be used on websites that require email registration, allowing users to protect their primary email address from spam and unwanted messages.
To install Firefox Relay on Android:
- Open Firefox on your Android device.
- Tap the three-dot menu button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Tap .
- Search for Firefox Relay in the list of available extensions
- Select the Firefox Relay extension from the results and tap the + icon to begin the installation process.
- A pop-up will appear asking to confirm the installation. Tap Add to confirm and continue.
To use Firefox Relay on Android:
After installing the extension, follow these steps to sign up or log in and start generating masks:
- Tap the button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Firefox will detect that the add-on is installed and an arrow will appear next to the button indicating that more options are available.
- Tap , then tap Firefox Relay to log in with your Firefox account (or to create an account if you don’t have one).
Once logged in, you will be taken to the Firefox Relay dashboard. Here you can manually create and manage your email masks. Tap the blue
button to create a mask from your dashboard.A Firefox Relay icon will appear on email fields after logging in. Tap the icon to generate or reuse an email mask.
