To import bookmarks from Google Chrome, you need to first export your Chrome bookmarks to an HTML file, then import that HTML file to Firefox.


Export bookmarks from Chrome

To export your Google Chrome bookmarks:

  1. Click on Chrome's tool icon to open the tools menu, and then select Bookmark Manager. Chrome's Bookmark Manager tab will open.

  2. In Chrome's Bookmark Manager tab, click on the Organize menu, and then select Export bookmarks.... A Save As window will appear.

  3. In the Save As window, select a location on your computer to store the exported bookmarks HTML file.


Import bookmarks into Firefox

To import the bookmarks into Firefox, open Firefox and then:

  1. Click the menu button Fx89menuButton to open the menu panel. Click Bookmarks and then click the Manage bookmarks bar at the bottom.

  3. The Import Wizard window will appear with From an HTML file selected by default. Click the NextContinue button.
  4. Navigate to the bookmarks HTML file you are importing, select the file, and click the Open button.

Your Chrome bookmarks will be added to your Firefox bookmarks within the Bookmarks Menu directory.
