To import bookmarks from Google Chrome, you need to first export your Chrome bookmarks to an HTML file, then import that HTML file to Firefox.
Export bookmarks from Chrome
- Open Chrome.
- Click on Chrome's tool icon to open the tools menu, and then select
. Chrome's Bookmark Manager tab will open. - In Chrome's Bookmark Manager tab, click on the
menu, and then select . A Save As window will appear. - In the Save As window, select a location on your computer to store the exported bookmarks file.
Import bookmarks into Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click the menu button to open the menu panel. Click and then click the bar at the bottom.
- In the Library window, click on The image "Importing Bookmarks HTML - Win" does not exist. , and then select . The Import Wizard window will appear.
- Select From an HTML file and then click . The Import bookmark file window will open.
- Navigate to the location where you saved Chrome's bookmark file, select it, and click .
Your Chrome bookmarks will be merged with your Firefox bookmarks in the Bookmarks Menu directory.
