Using For
On the sidebar on every Mozilla Support Article is a panel. This panel shows which Firefox versions and which computers this article applies to.
An article might apply to Firefox Version 45 and Macs.
Maybe it also applies to Firefox Version 44 and Windows 8.
Operating Systems
To specify what computers and Firefox Versions your article applies to, write {For} at the beginning of your article draft in wiki mark up language.
If your article applies only to Windows, then at the beginning of the article in the wiki markup write
Now the article will be visible when the panel says that the article is for windows.
If your article applies to both Macs and Windows, write .
Firefox Versions
If your article is applicable to Firefox 44 and above, write .
If your article is applicable only to Firefox 45 and above, use an equal sign.
Write .
Combinations
Use a combination of Fors to specify which systems your article applies to.
Try .
This article applies to Macs, Windowss XP computers, Windows 7 computers, Firefox version 40, Firefox 45, and any versions above 45. It does not apply to versions 41, 42, 43, or 44.
