Pocket for Firefox allows you to easily save a variety of content, such as blogs, news sources, web pages, and videos, with the click of a button.
When opening a new Firefox tab, Pocket will automatically display recommended stories, which feature the best content on the Web that other Pocket users have collected. However, you can easily hide these recommended stories from displaying in your Firefox browser on any device.

Hiding recommended stories on your computer
- Open a new Firefox tab.
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and select (select on older macOS versions).Click the menu button
and select .
- Select the panel.
You can also click the button in the upper right of the new tab, click and then go to the panel. - In the Firefox Home Content section, deselect the checkbox if you do not want to continue to receive sponsored content.
- In the Recent activity section, deselect Pages Saved to Pocket.
- Open a new Firefox tab.
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and select (select on older macOS versions).Click the menu button
and select .
- Select the panel.
You can also click the cogwheel icon in the upper right of the new tab. - Deselect the checkbox in the Firefox Home Content section.
- Deselect the checkbox if you do not want to continue to receive sponsored content.
