Request the desktop view of websites as follows:

  1. Tap the Menu button (either at the bottom right on some devices or in the upper right of the browser) .
  2. Select the Request Desktop Site checkbox (you may need to tap More first) .

The website reloads and appears as it would on your desktop.

Firefox for Android enables user agent switching in your settings with an addon. This tutorial and the following procedure describe how to install the Phony addon to get the user agent choice in your settings and how to control the setting.

  1. Go to http://addons.mozilla.org/android.
  2. Search for Phony.
  3. Tap the Add to Firefox button.
    The Phony agent switcher addon will download and install.
  4. Tap the main Menu > More > Phony.
  5. Tap Default and select the Desktop Firefox radio button and tap OK.
  6. Reload the website to get the desktop view.
