Firefox lets you create shortcuts on your Android's home screen so you can quickly access your favorite websites. It eliminates the need to type a web address every time you want to access the site - just tap on its shortcut to open the page.
Here's how to do it:
- Open Firefox for Android and go to your favorite web page.
- Press the Menu button (either at the bottom right on some devices or in the upper right of the browser)
, then tap on .
- Tap
- Your shortcut should now appear on your home screen.
TIP: If you want a different caption on the shortcut, just add your page to the bookmarks first and assign the title you want. Later on you just have to add the bookmark to your home screen.
