Thanks for reporting a fake update. We have received reports of malware and we are trying to track these fake updates down. There are few things you can do to help us stop these fake updates from affecting other users. The community tracking for these sites can be also mentioned here

What you can do if you spot malware:

  1. Provide urls and copies of the fake file to antivirus companies so they can add it to their blocklists. These blocklists are not managed by the Mozilla community. Please see your antivirus vendor's support site for instructions.
  2. Report the web forgeries to the Google Web Forgery site.

What you can do to prevent malware on your computer:

  1. Run a malware scan on your computer to make sure your computer was not infected: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
  2. Avoid downloads from unreliable sources.

To learn more about malware:

Although we cannot prevent every server from giving you malware, knowing how to recognize and report it helps us keep the Internet open and safer. Thank you for your help.
