Private browsing
- We appreciate your feedback. Have you tried Private Browsing mode? https://mzl.la/39BSm8g. I hope this helps make your Firefox experience better!
- If you want to always open Firefox for Android in private browsing mode, select the Firefox menu, select “Settings”, then “Private browsing” and “Add private browsing shortcut”. This will add a shortcut to your Android homescreen.
Seeing ads and pop-ups
We appreciate your feedback. Have you tried Strict Tracking Protection mode? https://mzl.la/tp This will block tracking ads and will speed up your web browsing. Hope this helps make your Firefox experience better!
Clear history
Here is how to clear history: Tap the Firefox menu, select “History” before selecting “Delete browsing history” at the top.
Add to home screen and/or top sites
- To add a shortcut to your Android homescreen, tap the Firefox browser menu and select “Add to Home screen”.
- To add a top site to your Firefox for Android homescreen, tap the Firefox browser menu and select “Add to top sites”.
Speed/crashes and page not loading/not working correctly
- Please make sure you have the latest version of Firefox for Android. Also, try clearing cached storage, which will be similar to: open Android Settings, tap “Apps”, find “Firefox” and clear the cached storage (not data!).
- You may want to open the Desktop version of the site. Select the Firefox menu and tap “Desktop site” for the page to reload in a desktop view. Also if you have “Strict” Tracking protection on, consider switching back to “Standard”.
