What is Firefox Suggest?
As you type into the address bar, Firefox Suggest offers relevant site suggestions based on your queries to help you navigate the web. This can help you easily find information and quickly get to where you want to go.

Firefox Suggest may sometimes include sponsored content from Mozilla's advertising partners.
Who are Mozilla’s advertising partners?
Privacy is fundamental to Mozilla's mission and we only work with advertising partners that meet our privacy standards for Firefox. Our preferred partner is adMarketplace.
What data is Shared?
When you see or click on a Firefox suggestion, Firefox sends technical data to our partner through a Mozilla-owned proxy service. This data does not include any personally identifying information and is only shared when you see or click on a Firefox suggestion.
How do I enable or disable Firefox Suggest?
To enable or disable Firefox Suggest, follow these steps:
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click and select (or , in some cases).Click the menu button
and select .
- Click on the left and go down to the Search Suggestions section.
- Under Provide search suggestions, select or deselect the box next to Show Firefox Suggest in the address bar (suggested and sponsored results).
