Open the Page Info window
You can open the Page Info window in several ways:
- Click the padlock icon
to the left of the address bar.
- Click the arrow in the Site Information pop-up.
- Select .

What you can and can’t change from Page Info
The Page Info window allows some direct permission changes. Others must be adjusted in Firefox Settings or are not changeable for security reasons.

Sections of the Page Info window
General
Shows the basic page details:
- Title – The page title shown in your tab
- Address – The URL of the website
- Type – The kind of file or document the page is (e.g., text/html)
- Render mode – Whether Firefox displays the page in standard or quirks mode
- Text encoding – How characters on the page are interpreted
- Size – The page size
- Modified – When the page was last updated
Media
Lists all images, background files, and other media loaded with the page. You can:
- View file type, size, and dimensions
- Preview images
- Save individual items to your device
