This document describes the Firefox OS, Mozilla's new mobile OS built entirely on web technologies. Refer to support.mozilla.org for instructional videos, up-to-date information, and our community of volunteer experts. =Overview= Mozilla is partnered with a large number of carriers and OEMs in the development of Firefox OS, to bring accessible devices to emerging mobile markets in 2013. The v1.01 version is supported on two devices, as follows: *ZTE Open *Alcatel One Touch Fire Supported devices provide all of the features you would expect from a smartphone, like email, SMS messaging, search, maps and GPS navigation, music player, FM radio, camera (pxl spec TBD), Facebook and Twitter. Of course, you'll enjoy the world-class Firefox browser and Firefox Marketplace for games and entertainment, social apps, weather and local content on your phone. Firefox OS even has dynamic app search offered by no other mobile OS. It enables you to search for anything on the web and run it as an app on your phone without even downloading it! If you search for sushi, Firefox OS will return all of the top mobile apps on the web with results for sushi in your area. If you don't like an app, just tap the home button to go back.
