Firefox takes a long time to start up on my mobile device

We are constantly working on improving performance while reducing CPU usage and memory.

Perhaps you want to try Firefox Beta from the Android Market or Aurora, our pre-Beta version - it is less stable, as most of the new features you see are still in development, but it is faster and shows off some of the stuff we are planning to add to the official release in the near future.

Find out more from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#Download_Aurora or http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/channel/ in case you are interested at all.

Web pages take too long to load

There are four main things you can try in this situation. You can move Firefox back from SD card to the phone, you can uninstall or stopping other programs, you can uninstall unnecessary add-ons, or you can turn off the "reformat text on zoom" feature.

Need to add article links or more detailed steps to above section.

Firefox hangs my mobile device or stops responding

We have a crowd-based performance measuring tool that helps us figure out some performance issues. Read more at http://starkravingfinkle.org/blog/2011/02/zippity-using-the-crowd-to-collect-performance-data/

This didn't solve my problem. What do I do now?

Sometimes tracking down the source of these kinds of problems is difficult. We have a community of volunteers ready to help you figure it out.
